Well, this was a great weekend! Hanna came all the way from New York to visit us and my little belly and we had a great time just hanging out, relaxing, talking and getting cuddles. Boone was definitely involved in the cuddling. She got into town Friday right after work, and before I picked her up, I ran by the car wash because it was quite disgusting from Ryan’s last fishing adventure.
The rest of the night we just hung out, played games and cooked some dinner. We also had some amazing doughnuts from Doughnut Plant in Brooklyn that she brought to share. Soo good!
Saturday, after hanging out in bed for a while and having breakfast, we went out to run some errands. The day was a bit on the chilly side, but it was still super nice out.
Got home and made some pumpkin scones. And yes, they were amazing as well. I’ll be sharing the recipe here soon.
Later that day, after Ryan got back from hunting, we went out to eat for dinner.
Went to the Dublin City Pub again, and it was delicious once more.
On the way back, we stopped to get some beer for them, some Coney Island heavy root beer at that, while I stayed in the car as DD. We watched Inside Out, which Ryan and I hadn’t seen, and it’s such a good movie. Definitely recommend it.
Sunday, Boone woke up ready to go and cuddle with Hanna.
The morning was again pretty low key and soon after it was time to say goodbye. It was awesome having her over and I was sad to say goodbye, but we must carry on.
As soon as we got back form dropping her off at the airport, Boone was out for the afternoon.
I took the opportunity to work on my collage wall project. It’s mainly done, except I still need to change some pictures and get a hanger for a frame. I already love it though.
Then, I woke him up and took him on a walk because the day was gorgeous and I needed to move. The rest of the night was spent watching the Cowboys game, another loss, and relaxing before the big week ahead.
Today, I’m going in for my 28 week appointment where I’ll get two vaccines and the gestational diabetes test. Plus, Ryan and I are celebrating 2 years together. Time sure flies by and I’ve loved every minute of it. These have been two very eventful years in our lives and I’m extremely lucky to have had my best friend by my side to share them with. Love him!
