Wernimont Tournament 2016

Good morning! Even though I don’t have the pictures to show it, this weekend was non-stop. Ryan and I headed back to his home town for the 5th annual Wernimont Tournament, which involved golf, bags and bowling. Once again, it was a lot of fun and I was thoroughly enjoying the moment, hence the lack of pictures. Also, Ryan’s parents got to babysit Olivia for the first time and they were a ball of excitement about it.

Friday, Olivia came to work with me because she ran a fever the day before. She was just getting over her first cold and she did it like a champ. just two fevers and some snotty days, that’s it. She did a lot of sleeping and not a lot of fussing, which is alright by me. The more rest she got, the better. I did make sure she was still eating and she had no problem with it. After lunch, we got on the road and she slept the whole three hours (she didn’t really nap at work much). We visited some friends once we got into town and called it an early night to get ready for the next day.

OMA work

Saturday, we got up bright and early to get everything ready for Olivia and head out to the tournament. It was going to be a beautiful sunny but hot day, which I don’t mind at all. We teamed up with Max and Kayla for the day and had a blast throughout the tourney.

We didn’t play horribly golfing, but as the heat rose and the day drug on, our energy dwindled as well. In the end, we didn’t win anything, but still had lots of fun hanging out with all our friends. It’s great to get the whole group together every year.

Throughout the day, I also got updates from Ryan’s parents and it seems that they were having a blast with Olivia as well. She was over her cold and back to her happy self once again.

Sunday, we just hung out with the family in the morning until it was time to drive back home. Pretty uneventful evening. We did take Olivia’s four month pictures, since we couldn’t’ on Saturday, and she was just being a goofball. Glad to have my baby back fever and cold free.

Silly OMA

Hopefully this week we’ll be able to recharge our batteries!
