Favorite Items of the Month #4

Another month went by already?!?!?! Time is flying! Well, as usual, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite items from them month. Don’t be afraid to share yours in the comments!

Aveeno Positively Ageless Reconditioning Night Cream

This cream is a life saver when my face seems to be extra dry. I don’t use it every night, but only a couple of times a week and I love it. It’s thick enough to coat my skin and give it the hydration it needs overnight. Super creamy, so it’s perfect for dry skin. It’s also odorless, so I don’t go to bed with a super perfumed or stinky face. My skin definitely feels a ton better when I wake up after using this cream. I’ve been using it for a few years now and haven’t had the need to look for a replacement. It came especially handy this month when we had some pretty dry days.

Aveeno Skin Relief Overnight Cream

Yep, Aveeno is one of my favorite skin care brands! I keep the Skin Relief Overnight Cream on my nightstand and apply to my feet and hands before going to bed. It’s the best way to cap off a long day and the moisturizing relief is instant. Perfect for those super dry skin areas.

Loreal EverCurl Sulfate-Free Shampoo

This one is worth mentioning because this month I happen to convince two of my sisters of the powers of this shampoo series. I ‘m allergic to sulfa and I’ve been using this shampoo ever since I discovered it about 5 ears ago. It’s amazing! Even if you’re not allergic to sulfa, removing any sulfates from your products will only improve your results. It keeps my hair clean and my curls super moisturized. It’s the best thing ever!

The ‘Ove’ Glove

My dad sent me this as a gift a long time ago and I have loved it since the day I got it. I use it almost every day. Considering how much I bake, this thing is built to last. It’s easy to clean and keep well. Plus, it truly protects your hands from heat. better than any pot holder I’ve tried. Another awesome thing, the sticky hands are also great in helping to open jars. It’s a must-have in any kitchen and a great housewarming gift.

Cuisinart Immersion Blender

I love this handy kitchen tool. It’s great for mixing small batches of batter (ie pancakes), but it has proven worthy making baby food as well. It’s small, easy to store and a cinch to clean. No need for super bulky kitchen appliances here. I’ve also used it to blend soups in the pot and it works like a charm. Love it!
