Well, this weekend was centered on picture taking. Saturday, I had a photo shoot session and meeting with the Cedar Rapids Moms Blog I recently joined. Also, Sunday, it was super nice in our sun room so I used the opportunity to spend about an hour taking pictures of Olivia before she turns one this Saturday.
First though, we had our last swim lesson. Olivia was kinda tired, so she was in between loving it and not. She did great though and was engaging the instructor whenever she came by.
This little girl loves the water and we’ll definitely join in again before our trip to the British Virgin Islands.
After the swim lessons and my meeting, I came back to hang out with my little princess.
We also had some time to facetime the abuelos. Umm, I think it’s safe to say they like each other.
Sunday morning, I woke up to the inevitable, Olivia decided she was done with nursing. We’ve slowly been weaning, but I definitely wasn’t ready for it and now I’m riding this emotional roller coaster of the end of our breastfeeding journey. So instead, we spent some time reading books and making animal noises before breakfast.
Once we got ready for the day, Olivia and I spent some time in the sun room in our own mini photo session. She loves going for the phone whenever I set it down to take pictures or videos.
Ryan’s favorite pic? This one, where she looks like she’s up to no good.
One thing is for sure though, she’s a mover. Picking up more speed every day.
I do love spending time with this little one and can’t believe she’s going to be a toddler soon. Stop!!!!!
Hope you have a good week!
